You can't create forums - neither can I, and I'm a moderator. Post your request here and the sysadmin may create it. Note that "Local forums" is for non-English forums - if that'a not what you want then suggest a more appropriate placement.
@coffeelover Setting aside all the "snarki-ness" and BB71's excellent decompiling of this thread...the fact remains that often NAVIGATION w/in Opera can be challenging. Anchoring the sidebar and exploring links in separate tabs is a basic good practice not mentioned often enough.
Opera works just fine, users not taking a few moments to review (customize) default settings - in ANY browser are apt to "lose" things.
@piachu91 I am a bit surprised to notice that speed dial isn't synchronizing, neither the wallpaper. Expected this to be one of the basic things to sync.
No criticism, Opera is a wonderful browser. However, I had a set of links on the speed dial and I now have to rebuild it.
Using the free VPN in Opera. After downloading the browser, enabling VPN is easy. Go to “Settings” (or “Preferences” on Mac), choose “Privacy & Security” and then toggle the free VPN. An icon labeled “VPN” will appear in the browser, from which you can toggle VPN on and off, and choose a location.
You mean where it says "1 posts, 8 views" next to the Reply button? That's in every thread - once after the topic starter and once after all the replies (or at the bottom of each page if you've set a fixed page length).
Seems Leo took your "matter solved" as referring to your question (and not to Ubuntu forums) and closed the thread.
If you'd like, I can easily remove your current photo, though I'd leave posting a new one to you. Just go to Edit Profile and click on Change Picture (left side just below the large image of your current picture).
No patience at all. It can take that long for one of us to approve new posts. Mind you the swearing (in your other posts) and your objectionable user name will get you banned anyway, but I'm leaving this post so you'll know the rules. If you post in a civil manner you can say what you want about the browser, and you will find posts exist about your other topics. But choose a username that doesn't include swear words, and wait for us to approve your first post (on holidays and weekends an hour is actually pretty short).
